Once the number of people in your group exceeds 12, you will need to reserve a site at another campground or in one of the designated group areas in the Park. There are no trash cans, no running water, no waste water drains, no electricity, no cell phone coverage and no showers. Since the campground was booked solid, we didnt venture down to disturb the other campers (as of August 2019). All leantos were moved to the former group area field and the bridge over Newowadnehunk Stream is open to foot traffic only and is used to access several walk-in tent sites.

But the other paths (all easy to moderate, as theyre a bit rocky and rooty but mainly flat) are also great both for the remote ponds they lead you to and also for the views they provide of mountains looming over water.
