Pieskovanie trávnika

Pieskovanie je zapracovávanie piesku do pôdneho profilu po aerifikácii (prevzdušnení). Používa sa hlavne na takých trávnych plochách, ktoré sú viac zaťažované.

Pieskovanie je zapracovávanie umytého - odvápneného piesku (najlepšie kremenného), ktorého zrniečka majú priemer 0,2 mm, do pôdneho profilu po aerifikácii (prevzdušnení). Používa sa hlavne na takých trávnych plochách, ktoré sú viac zaťažované. Cieľom je zlepšenie fyzikálnych charakteristík povrchovej časti vegetačného substrátu a zlepšenie podmienok pre odnožovanie tráv. Pieskovanie zlepšuje príjem vody z pôdy, zvyšuje poróznosť pôdy a znižuje možnosť tvorby prázdnych miest v trávniku a následne tvorbu buriny. Na silnejšie zaťažovanom trávniku sa môže pieskovať i viackrát ročne (až 4x) spolu s aerifikáciou a vertikutáciou - asi 5 - 10 litrov na 1 m2.

Aby sa piesok rozložil na plochu rovnomerne, používa sa aplikátor. Piesok sa aplikuje i do vytvorených otvorov.

Na trávnikoch, ktoré sú založené na pôdach bohatších na piesok, sa osvedčil top dressing.

Termín pieskovania: minimálne 1x za sezónu - súčasť komplexnej regenerácie, optimálne ak sa pieskuje aj na jeseň

Množstvo piesku: cca 40 t - 60 t / ihrisko

Piesok: kvalitný kremičitý piesok, frakcia 0 - 2 mm

Výsledok:

  • zlepšuje príjem vody z pôdy
  • zvyšuje poróznosť pôdy
  • znižuje možnosť tvorby prázdnych miest v trávniku a následne tvorbu buriny.

Nevyhnutné je pieskovanie hlavne na ťažkých ílovitých podkladoch.
