Španielsky profesionálny golfista, hráč americkej PGA Tour aj európskej The European Tour. Profesionálnu kariéru zahájil v roku 1999 a jej väčšinu strávil v prvej desiatke. Vyhral 7 turnajov PGA a 8 tournajov European Tour. V major turnajoch sa trikrát umiestnil na druhom mieste, PGA Championship (1999, 2008) a Open Championship (2007).

Garcia začal hrať golf ako trojročný so svojím otcom Viktorom. Už ako junior vyhral klubové majstrovstvá a ako 16 ročný prešiel cuttom na European Tour (1995 Turespana Open Mediterranea). V tom istom roku sa tiež stal najmladším hráčom, ktorý vyhral European Amateur.

Päťkrát bol členom európskeho týmu pre Ryder Cup.
